306 Block Party is two days of training, performing and battling.
We bring the training to Saskatchewan. Respected Street Dance artists, teachers and battlers fly in, work with the dancers, and then those same dancers take the stage to compete.
It's fun. It's education. And it's community-first.
Street Dance only
Hip hop and Street Dance styles exclusively, honouring the history, techniques and community of the culture, from foundational styles to the commercial and contemporary blends that shape the broader landscape.
A portion of proceeds are donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Saskatoon Branch.

High-energy Street Dance training for all ages and levels. Smaller, focused classes where dancers and teachers connect with the unique culture of Street Dance.
- Choreography plus foundations, groove and flow, freestyle concepts, battle prep and cultural context.
- A specialized faculty of respected leaders in the Street Dance scene. Faculty is announced on Instagram.
- Workshops and Q&A sessions.

Good to know
Convention is encouraged for all dancers ages 9+, and mandatory for solo and duo competitors ages 9–17. Registration is first come, first served until each level is full.

Solos, duos and crews, judged with feedback from the faculty. Every dancer has a different practice, so entry levels honour the hours you put in each week.
1 Star
Up to 1 hour of Street Dance classes per week.
2 Stars
1 to 2 hours of Street Dance classes per week.
3 Stars
2 or more hours of Street Dance classes per week.
All Stars
Semi-pro and pro crews, plus teachers. One performance, judged at professional standard.

Entry age is taken as at December 31st. Proof of age may be requested. Competition organizers reserve the right to combine, divide or change age categories based on the number of entries.
CoStar and Crew entry age is determined by taking the average age of the dancers, rounding after .99.

Spring Stars Inc. reserves the right to combine or divide categories depending on the number of entries.
At the conclusion of each session, all performers from the session are invited back on stage. Standings are announced and awards are handed out. Judges may grant special recognitions at their discretion. The decisions of the judges are final.
At the end of each session, all performers return to the stage and standings and awards are announced. Crews that qualify for the Interstellar Finals are announced in no particular order — placements are decided on the night. Marks and adjudication videos come to your dashboard on elev8.dance after the event.
Standout crews return to compete in the finale, and high-scoring solos and duos receive dance awards. The night also features the Battle finals, an on-stage cypher and a judges showcase. Finals admission is by wristband.
Competition entries are accepted via register.elev8.dance on a first come, first reserved basis.
Studio directors and teachers are responsible to ensure that music, choreography and costuming are appropriate for all ages. Judges may penalize routines for profanity, suggestive phrases and inappropriate choreography.
All dance groups must have a qualified studio representative (teacher) with the dancers at all times. Spring Stars Inc. is not responsible for lost or missing articles of any kind.
There is no charge for the audience to watch the preliminary round of the competition. Finals admission is by wristband. Children who are 5 years of age or younger are free; everyone else requires a ticket.
03 — The Open Styles Battle · Saturday, April 10
Prove it in the battle.
Open styles. 3v3 crews. One stage.
Crews go head-to-head in knockout elimination rounds in front of a live audience. Unpredictable music across genres tests musicality, creativity and the ability to adapt to any beat. Winners are decided on skill, creativity and embodiment of hip hop culture values. Prelims by day, finals on stage at night.

Saturday night
The Interstellar Finals.
The weekend closes on one stage.
Top crews return to compete one last time. High-mark solos and duos take home dance awards, and the night caps with the Battle finals, an on-stage cypher and a judges showcase. Finals are ticketed by wristband, and a portion of every ticket goes to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Saskatoon Branch.
